Testimonials
“Shannel Trudeau-Yancey’s yoga class is perfect for beginners as well as students who’ve taken yoga classes before. Her sensitivity and expert training make each class a delight. Since the fall of 2011, I’ve looked forward to not just the yoga practice, but the atmosphere created by Shannel’s uplifting sensibilities, her humor and attention to our practice. There’s no pressure or competition, it’s go at your own pace, listen to your body. In the fall of 2011, when I started yoga as a middle-aged woman with back problems (who’d never taken a yoga class before), I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I have been truly amazed and look forward to each class. Daily I am reminded of improvements in my posture, flexibility plus, an awareness and general feeling of well-being and optimism. I highly recommend Shannel’s class to anyone who has never taken yoga and even to people who have. After one class with Shannel, I’m sure you will agree!”

“New to the art of yoga, I found this beginning series to be a fun experience, as well as a wonderfully challenging introduction! With Shannel’s depth of the material, exquisite instruction and her intuitive understanding of how people learn, I have been able to feel and understand the essential connection between my mind and my body. I didn’t realize just how important proper breathing and alignment are within my daily life and now see the true potential of a continued practice. I can honestly say that, this class has opened me up physically and mentally while changing my life in the process.”

“I have been incredibly fortunate to have Shannel as a coach. Shannel’s genuine warmth, compassion, and kindness shines through in each of our sessions together and helps me to remain engaged in the process of shaping a life and a future that aligns with my mission, priorities, principles, goals, and desires. Shannel has an incredible ability to pour forth enthusiasm and excitement for every advance that arrives, and in so doing helps me to appreciate all the small victories on the road to something bigger. I find Shannel’s ability to open our sessions with centering and grounding practices to be an invaluable aid to helping me to get the most from our time together. Shannel’s decades of experience, education, and practice in contemplative and healing practices, Western and Eastern, Ancient and Modern provides those lucky enough to work with her with a treasure trove of knowledge, understanding, and practices to help them to improve their lives.”
